Experienced change professional required for specialist audit role at leading global investment company
As a result of business changes and promotions in the team, our client, a leading global investment company, are looking to bring in some new talent to their highly-regarded Internal Audit function.
They are looking for a Change Audit Specialist to join the team in central Edinburgh. As a Change Audit Specialist youll report to an Audit Manager as part of a small team responsible for planning and delivering audits covering major change programmes across the company.
Our client has a significant and complex change agenda focused on concluding the integration of legacy businesses, and transforming operations. In addition, there are a number of new growth initiatives underway; all of which rely on effective project and programme delivery. In this context, Internal Audit play a key role in helping their stakeholders to understand, assess and manage the risks associated with major change programmes.
To be successful in the roles, candidates need to have, as a minimum:
– Been educated to degree level with a relevant professional qualification or experience e.g. accounting, audit, risk or equivalent.
– Strong change experience, with an excellent understanding of effective programme/project management and governance processes and controls ideally gained in an audit or assurance role but would also consider first and second line practitioners with an interest in deploying their expertise in a different way.
– Some experience and understanding of products, processes and risks in an asset management or investment firm would be desirable but not essential.
