This established challenger bank has a position available for a digital risk partner (lead role). This is a pivotal hire for them and will offer you a great deal of exposure to senior stakeholders across the group. Reporting to the Head of Risk Management within the 1st Line Business Risk and Controls team, the Digital Risk Manager will provide 1st Line of Defence risk partnering support for the functions that manage digital risk – Digital Product Management and Digital Experience. The role also requires support and challenge for change programmes that are digitising customer journeys – these currently include projects to upgrade systems that underpin digital journeys and new payment solutions.

Responsibilities include :
• Facilitating the completion and ongoing refresh of risk assessments associated with digital processes and controls.
• Monitoring the performance of controls and working with process and control owners to define action plans when assurance testing highlights ineffective controls
• Overseeing data quality on the op risk platform
• Membership of risk governance forums
• Engaging with relevant change programmes to ensure that risk assessments are completed in line with the Change Delivery Framework and that informed decisions are made ahead of deployment
• Preparing monthly narrative and analysis for divisional risk reports
• Quality checking accuracy of the business’s narrative and analysis in governance meeting packs
• Providing insight to support strategic objectives
• Providing ad-hoc support for stakeholders on application of the op risk framework

We’re looking for:
• Strong background in the financial services industry.
• An in-depth understanding of Governance and Operational Risk management in a regulated environment.
• Good working knowledge in relation to all things digital
• Proven speaking, presentation and facilitation experience within workshops and governance forums.
