Finance Controls Assurance Manager (9 month FTC) – EDINBURGH

Please note this vacancy is a Fixed Term Contract (not daily rate) until March 2023.

The job holder will liaise with process and control owners to deliver value through providing oversight and assurance by assessing the effectiveness of the design and operation of controls (and contributing to the development of improvements).

The Finance Controls Assurance Manager must be able to use effective communication, knowledge and insight to influence technical specialist process owners to agree control requirements, test timetables, deficiencies and remediation actions, which ultimately contribute to the SOX reporting to the Audit Committee and overall company.

Experience sought:
• Experience of working within a finance, risk or internal audit function
• Experience of SOX, model validation and controls testing an advantage
• Financial Services experience preferred
• Understanding of assurance principles and techniques.
