This is a fantastic opportunity to join a relatively new and developing Financial Crime Advisory team in a leading challenger bank.

Based either in Glasgow or Edinburgh (your preference), you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, with a focus on AML, Sanctions and Fraud Advisory.

You will be responsible for supporting the FC Strategic & Threat Intel Manager in the coordination and delivery (and leading on some aspects) of:
a) Defining (and supporting the implementation and maintenance of ) the Banks core Customer Security strategy and control framework.
b) providing BAU SME input to the business and all 3 Lines of Defence as required.
c) Providing dedicated SME technical support for key Financial Crime related projects.
d) leading (for the bank) on key aspects of Financial Crime related: Risk Assessment; Training needs analysis and planning
e) Engagement with key internal and external stakeholders in relation to FC best practice, industry initiatives and emerging risks.

This is a great opportunity to broaden your practical Financial Crime experience and develop your senior stakeholder management skills.

Ideally you will come from a strong Fraud Advisory / Strategy / Risk / Assurance type role – although other Financial Crime areas will be considered.

Strong stakeholder and honed communication skills are paramount as you will be an important point of contact for the business. They are looking for candidates with energy, enthusiasm and ideas who want to make an impact in the business.
