This is a fantastic opportunity to join a relatively new and developing Financial Crime Advisory team in a leading challenger bank.
Based either in Glasgow or Edinburgh (your preference) with flexibility to work from home a few days a week, you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, with a focus on AML, Sanctions and Fraud Advisory.
You'll be responsible for supporting the Financial Crime Strategic & Threat Intel Manager in the coordination and delivery (and leading on specific aspects as directed) of:
a) Defining (and supporting the subsequent implementation and maintenance of ) the Banks core Customer Security strategy and control framework.
b) providing BAU SME input to the business and all 3 Lines of Defence as required.
c) Providing dedicated SME technical support for key Financial Crime related projects.
d) leading (for the bank) on key aspects of Financial Crime related: Risk Assessment; Training needs analysis and planning
e) Engagement with key internal and external stakeholders in relation to FC best practice, industry initiatives and emerging risks.
This is a great opportunity to broaden your practical Financial Crime experience and develop your senior stakeholder management skills.
We're looking for:
SME Level understanding of current law, regulation and industry good practice in relation to: AML, Sanctions and External Fraud.
Min 3-4 years experience in a FC/Fraud advisory, oversight /assurance or Nominated Officer Function role.
Experience of providing SME input to FC related projects.
Possession of (or willingness to study for) an ICA Diploma in AML or FC – or another equivalent qualification
