We are looking for a Head of Resilience to build out and lead a new 1st line team in this high profile challenger bank, leading the bank-wide resilience programme, working with and influencing all areas of the Bank and it's outsourced partners in line with industry good practice and Regulatory expectation, delivering a resilience risk and control framework and providing board-level assurance and that enables a structured management approach.

Responsibilities include to:
• Champion and lead activity to transition, support, embed and mature the Resilience programme.
• Lead the development and assurance of the resilience framework across the first line of defence, giving consideration to people, processes, technology, facilities, information/data and any 3rd party/outsourced arrangements.
• Lead the definition, agreement and embedding of control measures, including impact tolerances, intuitive MI & reporting and governance
• Lead the delivery of a stress testing regime
• Lead the approach in relation to the remediation of material resilience gaps
• Drive effective risk management providing constructive challenge, support, feedback and subject matter expertise to SM&CR role holders , the broader business and outsourced partners
• Lead and enhance Crisis Management frameworks and capabilities ensuring alignment with Business and IT Incident Management and that major incidents have a proportionate response
• Lead and develop the Business Continuity framework and capability

Experience and Knowledge:
• Skilled in developing a strategic approach to Operational Resilience with a strong grasp of regulatory direction and experience of implementing this in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of IT practices and emerging technologies.
• Experienced in leading Incident Management, Crisis Management and Business Continuity frameworks within a regulated environment.
• Experience of engaging with and managing senior stakeholders up to Board level across a business.
• Experience of Regulatory engagement
