This powerhouse Information Security team is significantly growing, largely in response to the changes being driven by a sizeable multi-million transformation programme to transform this high profile Financial Services business from the ground up – creating growth and expansion opportunities. There are well over 100 projects ongoing, a large proportion of which have technology at the heart of them, with a need for IS input of varying types to a wide range of projects.

The roles are:
IS Manager vacancies providing security advice and guidance across a portfolio of projects
1 x Incident Response manager: needs experience of IR, prefer FS background but would consider outwith

The roles are suited to technical cyber or cyber risk professionals with a broad backgrounds – the rolees lean on technical skills, advising and guiding the project teams so previous involvement in a project environment is a plus.

Key responsibilities include:
• Play a key role in the successful delivery of a growing and evolving Information Security Function.
• Provide technical support and guidance to a portfolio of project teams and other business areas in relation to Information Security.
• Understand and support the mapping of the Security Strategy & Architecture Roadmap & Standards to protect their information assets.
• Support the Information Security strategy through assigned initiatives.
• Subject matter expert, supporting a variety of projects and providing thought leadership in specific areas.

We're looking for:
• Good knowledge and understanding of Financial Services regulatory/compliance requirements in information security and data protection.
• Providing information security SME input to change and transformation projects, using knowledge of project lifecycles
• Good stakeholder management skills, with an ability to understand and communicate technical detail to a non-technical audience.
• Problem Solving will be utilised in this role, as you will be expected to undertake very complex tasks, including analytical thinking and developing highly innovative solutions.
