Fast growing FinTech business looking for a Regulatory Change Manager
We are working on a really interesting senior regulatory change role, based in central Edinburgh with a FinTech company that is scaling rapidly . Our client operates in the business payments sector and is creating a real stir, innovating in the services/products they offer, attracting investment from leading global tech companies and getting consistently recognised as a great place to work.

The role reports to the UK Head of Risk and Compliance – it’s suited to a forward-thinking individual, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment who can drive the embedding of a strong compliance culture and strategy that enables the business to continue to evolve and grow in a safe and sustainable way, by further developing its understanding of the regulatory environment in which it operates.
Full spec available on request but broadly, the main responsibilities include to:
• Map out the regulatory and external engagement opportunities
• Maintain and enhance the company’s approach to industry engagement
• Research and analyse the impact of regulatory change, identify clear actions, and overseeing their completion
• Develop a structured approach to prioritise and co-ordinate responses to regulatory consultations, ensuring strategic interests are represented and the company influences the wider payments industry for the benefit of their customer base.
• Develop deep expertise in how their regulatory position aligns with commercial and product opportunities.
• Undertake targeted assessments of regulatory risks and their impact on new customers/products or sectors – this could include developing understanding of new jurisdictions.
• Contribute to the wider Second Line Risk and Compliance activities such as championing a strong risk and compliance culture and providing management and Board-level updates.

• Ability to get the business onboard to understand and own their regulatory risks and factor it into commercial decisions
• Whilst payments/banking is not essential – would be a great option
