Please note this vacancy is a Fixed Term Contract (not daily rate) for 12 months.
Providing risk knowledge and guidance to stakeholders and activity owners to ensure that the risk framework standards are maintained, and all risks are identified
Promoting a culture of ownership for risk management within all areas, in line with the banks risk management framework and strategic objectives
Ensuring activity owners are maintaining risk records and information is up to date and accurate
Working pro-actively with stakeholders to deliver successful management of the risks and controls in line with the risk framework and within agreed appetite
Reviewing any changes from internal and external sources to ensure that risks are identified and any changes to activity controls are effectively implemented
Ensuring that any risk events, breaches or policy non-compliance are reported in line with the risk framework requirements
Responsible for ensuring that activity owners identify and adequately manage risks, and are able to evidence adequate controls facilitating the completion of remedial action where needed
Identifying and facilitating actions to drive improvements across the business in line with strategic goals
What youll bring
Relevant risk management experience, ideally 5 years or more within financial services
Wide ranging experience of risk identification, assessment and activity control monitoring
Extensive knowledge and understanding of relevant regulation, compliance principles and risk frameworks
Experience of leading breach and risk events and remedial actions management.
