Our client, one of the worlds leading professional services organisations, has a fast growing assurance and advisory business in Scotland. They are adding to their team across all areas of the business including Cyber, Data Analytics and Technology Risk. They are also looking to bring in a number of high quality Senior Associates to the Risk Assurance team in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

The team provides confidence on the most complex decisions companies have to take and this provides a wealth of opportunities to everyone who joins and works with them.
The Scottish Risk Assurance team provides a range of high quality services to top and mid-tier clients predominately based in Financial Services in Scotland. They provide assurance services in the following areas:
Process, risk and controls advisory and reporting encompassing both business process and technology controls;
Corporate responsibility and sustainability reporting;
Controls due diligence;
Investment performance verification; and
These roles will suit ambitious, skilled, relationship focused professionals with a real desire to challenge themselves and develop the sorts of skills, behaviours and experiences that lay the foundation for a successful career. Specifically our client is looking for candidates with:
University degree and/or a professional qualification such as ICAS, ACA and/or CISA;
A minimum of 3/4 years experience of working in Financial Services or delivering assurance on behalf of a professional services firm including internal or external audit;
Deep understanding of controls and assurance, potentially with a knowledge of relevant industry standards, e.g. ISAE 3402, SSAE 18, AAF 01/06, GIPS®, SOC1, SOC2, CASS rules;
Experience of developing strong relationships with client and internal stakeholders;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Client handling and relationship management skills;
Supervision/coaching of junior members of staff; and
Strong project management and analytical skills.
