Our client, a leading multinational Financial Sevices Organisation is looking to hire a Senior Conduct Risk Manager to join their growing function – following some exciting partnerships and acquisitions in recent years the business has stregthened its position as a leader in the life & pensions and asset management sectors globally and their risk and regulatory functions have grown as a result.
This is a fantastic opportunity reporting directly to the Head of Conduct Risk in their role of supporting the executive to identify, manage and control regulatory risks across the diverse businesses in the group and help manage the Conduct Risk team. The team delivers oversight and input into strategic and regulatory change programmes and leads & co-ordinates the identification and assessment of regulatory change on the UK business. You will also help to develop internal policy and standards, and give advice on complex technical issues to colleagues within the Risk function and the wider organisation and will deputise for the Head of Conduct Risk at key governance and stakeholder meetings.
We're looking for a combination of :
Practical knowledge of best practice in the management of regulatory risk in the UK financial services sector
Practical business and product knowledge, systems/processes, governance and risk frameworks
Good knowledge of Pensions, Investments and Platforms (nature of the business, systems and processes) to enable sound assessment of the impact of regulations
regulated product providers ideally in a group function or with a regulatory consultancy
Operational management experience in a fast paced delivery focussed environment
Executive level engagement
Experience in working in a regulated business providing guidance and influencing change within a regulatory change/strategic change environment including direct to customer and/or advice.
Use of analysis and reporting tools, techniques and applications
